The Weber Basin Water Conservancy District is now accepting Statements of Qualification from Contractors that wish to provide services for the construction of the 12th Street Pipeline Installation Project. This project is part of the 12th Street Corridor Project that Weber County is doing. Weber County has short listed three General Contractors that will bid on the project. The General Contractors that you would need to work with to bid on this project is:

  • Geneva Rock
  • Staker Parson Companies, Inc.
  • Granite Construction

The Work generally consists of:

  • Installing a new 24-inch PVC pipeline in 12th Street in Weber County from the bridge crossing the Weber River to as far as Weber County's Budget will allow (the plans prepared by CRS Engineers show plans for the road and pipeline extended just west of 8300 West).
  • A pipe Bridge for the new Pipeline to cross the Weber River. 

The Weber County is anticipating to have the plans completed and out for bid around the first or second week of March 2019.  The Work will commence in May or June of 2019.

Those Contractors who have already submitted a Statement of Qualifications to Weber County for this Project will not need to submit another Statement of Qualification to Weber Basin they will be automatically included.

Weber Basin Water has selected Center Point Construction as the contractor to tear down 4 existing District Homes and build the four new homes in their place. Below is the bid results for the project.

Weber Basin Water Conservancy District will receive Requests for Proposals for professional services of a qualified and knowledgeable professional Integration Firms to assist District Employees in the process of SCADA Automation and Controls Integration.

The Work generally consists of:

  • Water Efficiency Research Center Building
    1. New electrical system in a new single story 9,500 SF mass timber framed and architectural concrete Water Efficiency Research Building.
  • Administration Building Addition
    1. Connecting into the existing electrical system in the Administration building and running it into the new two story 3,600 SF steel framed addition.
  • Maintenance Building Remodel
    1. Connecting into the existing electrical system in the Maintenance building and running it into the new remodeled 2,000 SF single-story Maintenance building.

The site is located on the existing District campus at 2837 East Highway 193, Layton, UT 84040.  The Owner is anticipating receiving bids for the Work in February 2019.  The Work will commence in March 2019 and be completed and approved by OWNER in all respects by November 30, 2019.  It is preferred that the Maintenance Building Remodel be completed by June 30, 2019 and the Administration Building Addition and Remodel be completed by August 30, 2019.

The Work generally consists of:

  • Water Efficiency Research Center Building
    1. Construction of a new single story 9,500 SF mass timber framed and architectural concrete Water Efficiency Research Building with all associated structural, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, security, and AV systems.
    2. Site improvements for approximately 75,000 SF of existing site, including a new parking lot, paved patio space, landscaping to blend into the existing demonstration gardens, and all associated storm drain, site lighting, and irrigation systems.
  • Administration Building Addition
    1. Selective demolition of approximately 550 SF of the existing 2 story Administration Building.
    2. Construction of a new two story 3,600 SF steel framed addition to connect to the existing Administration building with all ­­­associated structural, HVAC, electrical, security, and AV systems.
    3. Remodel of approximately 3,500 SF of interior space of the existing 2 story Administration Building.
  • Maintenance Building Remodel
    1. Selective demolition of approximately 2,000 SF of the interior of the single-story Maintenance Building
    2. Remodel of approximately 2,000 SF of interior space of the existing single-story Maintenance building with all ­­­associated structural, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, security, and AV systems

The site is located on the existing District campus at 2837 East Highway 193, Layton, UT 84040.  The Architect estimates the total cost of construction to be approximately $6,200,000 for the work described above.  The Owner is anticipating receiving bids for the Work in February 2019.  The Work will commence in March 2019 and be completed and approved by OWNER in all respects by November 30, 2019.  It is preferred that the Maintenance Building Remodel be completed by June 30, 2019 and the Administration Building Addition and Remodel be completed by August 30, 2019.
