Pump Station Design 2/11/2021

Weber Basin Water Conservancy District (District) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ’s) from consulting engineering firms to provide Professional Engineering Services for the Design of the two pump stations and their connections to the District’s culinary water system. The design will include electrical systems/instrumentation assessment, HVAC, pipeline design, final design services, preparation of contract documents (drawings and specifications) to be used for bidding of the project, and bidding and construction management.

SOQ are due 16 March 2021 at 2:00 PM MST. Any questions can be directed to Briant Jacobs at 801-771-1677 or

The SOQ packet can be downloaded from this site.

NOTE: This project has been updated from the South Ogden Pump Station. This project now includes the design of two pump stations; Weber South (formerly South Ogden) and Weber West.

NOTE: Attached is the draft technical memo created by Brown & Caldwell which identifies/quantifies the choke point in WBWCD's culinary system which justifies the Weber West pump station. When the system is operating during the summer, there is not sufficient pressure/flow to fill the Little Mountain water tanks. The West Weber pump station would be an intermediate and cheaper option than upsizing miles of pipe.
