Secondary Water Service Activation Checklist
This checklist was developed to ensure applicants have verified their connection which will allow the District to efficiently complete activation of service. By ensuring your connection is in an acceptable condition the overall costs to the customer remain low. Please click the check boxes below to verify these items are complete.
The meter is accessible and free from obstructions.
The meter enclosure can be identified as a circular purple lid stamped “WBWCD IRRIGATION”. Generally, this is in the front park strip on the corner of the lot. Applicant should ensure the lid is not covered with dirt or other debris, the enclosure shape has not been compromised (out of round) and there is not damage to the lid or enclosure.
The meter enclosure is free from debris and the piping is sitting off the gravel bottom at least 4 inches.
Please remove the meter enclosure lid and ensure it has not been filled with dirt, water, or other material that would prevent the installation of a meter. Also ensure the distance between the bottom of the piping and the top of gravel is approximately 4-inches.
If you have not been able to answer “Yes” to both items above, please remedy the situation so you are able to complete this checklist in the affirmative to both questions.
Applicant acknowledges that should any of the provided information prove to be incorrect at the time District staff arrive to activate the service, the District may cancel activation and require the applicant remedy the issue to allow for activation. Additional charges may apply.
Please type your name below to verify you understand and agree to all items listed.

There are two types of activations that the District encounters.
1.) A new construction home where a meter has not been previously installed
2.) An existing home that was subject to a move out/move in of a new customer.
Below are links to forms for your review that will need to be completed as part of this process. You will be given a form by the district to complete during this process.
