Classes and Events

Pruning can feel overwhelming, but knowing when, why, and how to prune is key to healthy trees & shrubs. This class combines classroom instruction with photos and explanations, followed by live demonstrations to give you the confidence to prune your own fruit trees for optimal production, structure, and health. Taught by District staff. If weather conditions prevent the outdoor portion, additional indoor instruction will be provided, including branch demonstrations to practice proper pruning cuts.
