Description
Vegetable gardening can be very rewarding and may not be as hard as you think. Join us to learn some of the basics from planting/transplanting, fertilizing, cultivation, varieties and how to deal with some of the issues you may encounter. Irrigation is also critical to your success and will be discussed to help you provide enough water and still be efficient while harvesting all the fresh produce you want to grow. This will be a great course for new gardeners and those that have done it for years to maybe learn something new. This class will be taught by David Rice, conservation manager at the District. This class will last one and 1/2 hours.
