Weber Basin Water Conservancy District has reviewed the Statements of Qualifications that were submitted for the "Pipeline Installation for Segment 3 of The 12th Street Corridor Project".

The Prequalified Contractors for this project are:

  • BHI Inc.
  • Leon Poulsen Construction Company Inc.
  • Ormond Construction Inc.

The General Contractors that these prequalified contractors will need to bid under are:

  • Geneva Rock
  • Staker Parson Companies, Inc.
  • Granite Construction

Proposal Evaluations

Proposals were evaluated based on a set of weighted criteria. The weighted criteria that were used to evaluate proposals, along with their respective weights, are listed below:

  • Project Team Experience (20%)
  • Experience with and Completion of Similar Projects (20%)
  • Approach, Coordination, and Response Times for Emergencies (20%)
  • Financial (20%)
  • General Approach to Pricing (20%)

Based on the evaluations performed by District staff using these criteria and scoring, the final scores of the Proposals were as follows:

  • 80.5
  • 76
  • 73
  • 53.5

Proposals were received from the following entities, listed in alphabetical order:

  • AE2S
  • Aventura Controls
  • NKD
  • SKM

The successful proposal for this project was submitted by Aventura Controls with a score of 80.5.

Weber Basin Water Conservancy District has selected ProBuild Construction Inc as the contractor to perform the repairs for phase 2 of the Weber South Water Treatment Plant Reservoir. Below are the bid results for the project.

Weber Basin Water Conservancy District is requesting Statements of Qualification to provide Professional Engineering Services for the completion of a Watershed Plan-EA for the headwaters of the Weber River and Upper Weber River Watershed in Summit County.

The USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) requires a Watershed Plan-Environmental Assessment (Plan-EA) or Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) pursuant to Public Law 83-566, the Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act. The final approved project boundary cannot exceed 250,000 acres per program authority.  The selected Consultant will coordinate with Weber Basin Water Conservancy District and NRCS to finalize the watershed study boundary and the proposed plan measures to be evaluated in the Plan-EA.

Proposals will be accepted until 2:00 PM Mountain Time on March 20, 2019.
