Weber Basin Water is seeking qualified applicants to fill a full-time Irrigation Operator I/Maintenance Worker-Meter Crew position.  The work schedule is typically Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm during the off-season.  During the irrigation season there will be on-call responsibilities and a rotating weekend schedule.   Duties include, but not limited to, installing, maintaining and repairing secondary water meters, ground maintenance and construction work, digging holes and trenches, and repairing fences.

Must obtain Class A, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 3 months of hire.  Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record per District policy. Ability to work in all types of weather. Must be responsible, able to work with others, and willing to follow directions. 

Starting wage is $15.88+/hr depending on experience.  Must be at least 18 years old.
