Weber Basin Water is seeking qualified applicants to fill a full-time Water Resource/Environmental Analyst position.  This position will entail assisting the District Administration in creating all necessary planning documents in the Resources Planning, Environmental Planning, and Facilities Planning functional areas and development of comprehensive technical reports.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in environmental engineering, water resources or related field.

The position requires five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in water resource planning that demonstrates ability in technical writing, self-motivation, working with teams and accountability to a complex organization. A candidate should have a combination of public sector and technical skills and experience in planning for water resource requirements for rapidly growing urban center.

Knowledge of basic engineering principals related to water resource planning, water quality, environmental, civil, and hydrology.  Familiar with a variety of computer software including MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.

Must be responsible, able to work with others, and willing to follow directions. 

Salary range for this position is $56,388 - $81,765 depending on experience.  Must be at least 18 years old.

Weber Basin Water is seeking qualified applicants to fill a full-time Programmer.  This position will entail assisting with all District computer programming needs.  This will consist of writing efficient, well-structured code on a variety of platforms as well as testing the code in multiple environments to ensure full functionality.  The selected individual will also assist in developing standards, procedures, and best practices for the programming group.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Computer Science or other technology-oriented degree with documented programming or software development courses. Prior software development experience is preferred but not required.  Development in multiple environments, including web (ASP.Net), Windows, and iOS is preferred. 

Knowledge of basic software design principles and data structures including object-oriented programming.  Knowledge of web development environments, including ASP.Net web forms, server-side and client-side programming, CSS including the Bootstrap framework, JavaScript, HTML, and Microsoft IIS.  Knowledge of the iOS development environment, including XCode, Swift, Cocoa Touch, and Apple MDM.  Knowledge of WCF web services, JSON, XML, etc.  Knowledge of relational database design principles, particularly in the Microsoft SQL server environment.  Knowledge of Windows forms application development, including C# and Visual Studio.  Knowledge of the SAGE 100 Business Object Interface is desirable, but not required.  Knowledge of Mac OS and Windows 10, including Microsoft Office Applications.

Salary range is $52,457 - $76,065 depending on experience.  Must be at least 18 years old.
