Weber Basin Water is seeking qualified applicants to fill a full-time Programmer. This position will entail assisting with all District computer programming needs. This will consist of writing efficient, well-structured code on a variety of platforms as well as testing the code in multiple environments to ensure full functionality. The selected individual will also assist in developing standards, procedures, and best practices for the programming group.
Graduation (or near graduation) from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Computer Science or other technology-oriented degree with documented programming or software development courses. Prior software development experience is preferred but not required. Development in multiple environments, including web (ASP.Net), Windows, and iOS is preferred.
This position will assist in the design and development of new software or web applications for the District and work with every aspect of application design (full stack).
Must be a critical thinker, responsible, able to work with others, and willing to follow directions.
Salary range is $52,457 - $76,065 depending on experience. Must be at least 18 years old.
