Bid Results - Bountiful Well Assessment & Repair Project

Bids for the District's Bountiful Well Pump Condition Assessment and Repair Project were received and opened publicly at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 31st, 2017.  Bids were submitted by four Contractors.  The Contractors are listed below along with their respective bids:

1)  C.H. Spencer & Company:  $35,091.70

2)  Nickerson Company:  $36,692.00

3)  Petersen Bros. Drilling Company:  $53,283.80

4)  Widdison Turbine Service:  $52,916.00

As the low bidder, C.H. Spencer has been selected to perform this work.

REQUEST FOR BIDS - BOUNTIFUL WELL CONDITION ASSESSMENT PROJECT

The Weber Basin Water Conservancy District is accepting sealed bids from contractors that wish to provide professional well services for the District's Bountiful Well. Services will include, but not be limited to, removal of the existing pump and ancillary equipment, removal of a floating layer of oil in the well casing, video recording of the well casing and perforations, brush and bail cleaning of the well (at the District's option), replacement of damaged and/or worn components, installation of a new sounder tube, reinstallation of the pump and ancillary equipment, and startup of the well. Bids will be accepted at the Weber Basin offices at 2837 East Highway 193 in Layton, Utah starting Thursday, January 5th, 2017 until 2:00 PM Mountain Time on Monday, January 23rd, 2017. A public bid opening will be held at that time and location.
